How becoming a mom made me better at what I do… How becoming a mom made me better at what I do… I’ve been working with moms and families for way longer than having my own children. Back then I thought I was good with kids… and I can’t say I wasn’t. BUT after becoming a mom I got a deeper understanding and empathy when ✨ my newborn moms get really triggered by their baby crying ✨ they feel strongly about something in particular that other moms don’t care ✨ the overwhelm of getting ready and dressing the whole family for a photo shoot results in lack of energy and self confidence ✨ kids going wild break your dreams and expectations of a magazine cover photo shoot ✨ the daring task of running a business and raising your kids make you feel like a complete failure ✨ the pressure of ‘being authentic’ and ‘showing yourself’ for your small business colides with your privacy concerns for your kids. Oh Friday! I can’t even believe it’s Friday Oh Friday! I can’t even believe it’s Friday already. This past few weeks have been a blur. I’ve had little to no child care and things just snowballed.
